It's always fun to do baby pictures for friends and former wedding clients, and when they're both it's even better - especially when their kids are this cute!

Ari
These were taken just over two years after this shoot: http://michelledupuis.blogspot.com/2008/08/ari.html. It's funny to see how much kids change in 2 years, but what's really amazing is how much they stay the same! I love that Ari has the exact same expression on his face in the black & white shot here, as he does in the color picture I posted of him as a baby.

These cuties are cousins born just a couple weeks apart. They don't look much like each other, but I think they both look like their moms who are sisters. Funny how that works...

A cold day in December calls for a little ray of sunshine. These are from a shoot I did this summer with my nieces and nephew shortly before their baby brother was born. At the time, Magpie was still the baby. She's grown up a lot in the past few months and I'm afraid pretty soon the sweet little songs she sings, in a language I'm not sure even she understands, will soon be a distant memory. For now, we'll enjoy them while they last...

Pool Party

There's something so intriguing about sparkling blue water...maybe it's because I spent much of my childhood floating in my grandma's pool...maybe it's because I love the ocean but live in a landlocked state...maybe it's because swimming outdoors in Minnesota definitely means it's summer. Whatever the reason, on this day the sun was warm, the water was cool, and the kids were laughing - I can't think of anyplace I'd rather be.
